- Tales of the Surfside Turtle Art Walk
Surfside is a popular nesting site for endangered loggerhead turtles. To bring awareness to this natural phenomenon, as well as facilitate sea turtle conservation, Surfside enacted an art program called the “Turtle Walk.” This program involved tapping local artists to create colorful resin and fiberglass statues of turtles.
- Surfside Farmer’s Market
Held every Sunday, the Surfside Farmers Market brings together growers, artisans, home cooks, and other vendors from the area, giving Surfiside’s residents easy access to fresh produce, baked goods, and other local products in one convenient location.
