High Pines – The Community
The neighborhood of High Pines is actually a tiny part of unincorporated Miami-Dade County nestled between Coral Gables, South Miami and Ponce Davis. Due to its proximity to South Miami, High Pines is very pedestrian friendly and residents can easily take advantage of the amenities close by. South Miami has excellent options for shopping, nice restaurants, a movie theater, bowling alley and many other amenities that draw a local crowd of all ages.
Because this area is just outside of South Miami, High Pines still manages to maintain a smaller town feel, Kids regularly play outside, neighbors are social and chat with each other and the streets are quiet. The community has grown and is now a very nice place for families to live. The neighborhood was once dominated by homes from the 40’s and 50’s but now there are a wide range of housing options to choose from. Two new construction townhome complexes have recently been added and there are a good amount of new construction homes in this area. High Pines is an attractive community with broad appeal.
