My latest obsession – a new listing in Pinecrest

12550 Pinecrest I can’t stop thinking about this nearly 3,000 sq ft 4 bedroom 3 bath home I visited recently at an open house.  It is located at 12550 Pine Needle Lane on one of the most spectacular lots I’ve seen on the market recently in Pinecrest. The home is being offered for sale by Jose Rodriguez with Coldwell Banker.

This well-maintained home feels like it belongs in the mountains of North Carolina. Some of the more striking features include the lovely wood floors, high arched wood ceiling in the main living areas, and a lovely picture window in the living room. While some buyers will really like the home’s wood paneling in several bedrooms and the brick accents, the could easily be updated to give the home a brighter and more updated feel.

Other features of the home include a recently added metal roof, a good deal of storage, relatively neutral bathrooms and updated appliances. The current owners have plans already drawn up to add an in-laws quarters to the back of the home which they’ve estimated would cost approximately $40,000. With some relatively minor updates and/or enhancements and with the addition of the already planned extra room and bathroom, the home could be spectacular.

The yard is really the stand-out feature of this property, it is truly outstanding. Mature trees, open space, a large and beautifully tiled pool – it has it all. The location is also top notch – surrounded by multi-million dollar homes in one of the most desirable areas of Pinecrest.

This house won’t be a perfect fit for everyone, but if you’re looking for something other than the traditional pinecrest ranch in the $800,000 – $1 million range, this is certainly one not to miss. Give me a call anytime to set up a showing.
